Deep Freeze

Oh it stormed yesterday, and froze instantly.  Car doors won’t open, garden in tatters, Christmas in question…but it IS beautiful:

Half of the bamboo fell into Jason’s yard and the other half fell into our yard takiing out Jason’s phone line.  Oops.

The camellia fell onto the car, but being a camellia it will no doubt recover.  Hope the car will.

Roger said the world out there is like a meringue–hard and crusty.  I’m staying in.  Brrrr.
